It is a ”protective factor enhancer” against gastric acid. Although it cannot be said to have a strong effect, there are almost no side effects.
It is widely used to treat gastritis and stomach ulcers. It is sometimes prescribed together with other drugs such as analgesics to prevent stomach irritation caused by them.
 
Efficacy
This medicine improves circulation abnormalities by increasing blood flow in the gastric mucosa, normalizes gastric mucosal component and promotes increase of prostaglandins that protect cells in the gastric mucosa, thereby improving symptoms in gastric ulcer and gastritis.
It is usually used to treat gastric ulcer and to improve gastric mucosal lesions (erosion, bleeding, redness and edema) in acute gastritis and acute exacerbation of chronic gastritis.
 
Usage
In general, for adults, take 1 tablet (100 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 3 times a day after meals. The dosage may be adjusted according the age or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions.
If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.
If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
