"Pollakisu Tablets 3mg" To urinary incontinence [CHEPLAPHARM]
Contents
It has the effect of preventing the bladder from contracting on its own.
It also relaxes the bladder muscles and increases the capacity, allowing more urine to be stored.
Because of these effects, it is used to treat frequent urination, urgency, and urinary incontinence caused by various diseases.
There are ''1mg,'' ''2mg,'' and ''3mg'' versions, depending on the content of the active ingredient Oxybutynin Hydrochloride.
Efficacy
By its neurotropic effect (antimuscarinic effect) and direct effect on bladder smooth muscle (calcium antagonist effect), it suppresses bladder hypertonicity and increases bladder volume and micturition threshold pressure.
It is usually used to treat frequent urination, urgency, and urinary incontinence in neurogenic bladder and unstable bladder.
However, it is not suitable for stress urinary incontinence caused by urethral dysfunction.
Usage
In general, adults should take 2 to 3 mg of the active ingredient three times a day. The dosage may be increased or decreased depending on age and symptoms. Each tablet contains 3 mg of the active ingredient. Be sure to follow the instructions for taking the medicine.
If you miss a dose, take one dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the usual time. Never take two doses at once.
If you accidentally take more than your usual dose, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
